Organised by Bristol’s own Mark Olver, Belly Laughs is looking to raise money for the Julian Trust with a series of amazing gigs throughout January and February. At venues as exciting as the Elephant House in Bedminster, Box-E, Harts Bakery and Pinkman’s Bakery, you’re in for an absolute treat!

Why is comedy in Bristol so good?

Because it’s a cool, arty place to live, and that attracts lots of people to perform. There’s a comedy school every summer and a supportive local ‘open mic’ scene. There’s two universities.

Bristol has over 20 different open mic comedy nights!

Some comedy nights are run at big, amazing venues with comedians off the telly.
